Give your Muse a memory for money.
Hominem is a finance ledger that reconciles itself — every transaction imported, deduplicated and matched until your balances agree with the bank to the cent. Connect it to your own Muse over MCP, and your Muse can answer questions about your money from the real ledger. Not estimates. Not a dashboard you have to learn. Just ask.
Works with the Muse you already have. Your data stays in your Hominem account.
Ask your money anything.
No filters, no exports, no pivot tables. You ask in plain English — Muse reaches into your reconciled Hominem ledger and answers with the real numbers.
01 Grounded, not guessed
Every answer comes from tool calls against your actual ledger — the same 21 finance tools, the same reconciled data. If Muse says £486.20, it can show you the 23 transactions behind it.
02 Categories, tags, transfers
Spending by category, breakdowns by tag, top merchants, monthly stats, runway. Transfers between your own accounts are linked, so money moving never counts as money spent.
03 Always current
Your connected accounts sync into Hominem every day, deduplicated on the way in — through an aggregator connection, or direct connections using your own API key. Coverage is limited only by the access your Muse has. Ask about yesterday and the answer already includes it.
Three steps. Then just ask.
Create a Hominem account
Your ledger lives in Hominem — accounts, transactions, categories and tags, reconciled and kept in sync. It’s the memory; Muse is the mind that reads it.
Connect it to your Muse
One MCP hookup. Add the Hominem server to your Muse and the full finance tool surface appears — no plug-ins, no new app to learn.

Connect your accounts — then ask
Connect accounts through an aggregator connection, add direct connections using your own API key, or import history — you’re only limited by the access your Muse has. From then on it’s conversation: “What’s my runway?” “Where did September go?”
What your Muse can do
Twenty-one finance tools, exposed over MCP. These are the headliners — each one a real call your Muse makes against your ledger.
Balances that match the bank
Net worth and per-account balances drawn from a ledger that’s normalised against live bank balances — if it disagrees with your bank, that’s a bug, not a rounding error.
finance_net_worth · finance_accountsSearch any transaction
“That charge from the airline in March?” Full-text and filtered search across every account and every year you’ve imported — answers in seconds, with receipts.
finance_transaction_searchSpending by category
Where the money actually went — eating out, travel, subscriptions — computed from categorised transactions, not a bank’s best guess at a merchant name.
finance_spending_by_categoryTags that cut across everything
Tag a trip, a project, a tax year. Muse can break spending down by tag, rename and merge tags, and keep the taxonomy tidy as it grows.
finance_tag_breakdown · finance_tag_mergeTransfers, linked — not double-counted
Money moving between your own accounts is matched into linked transfers, so your spending totals stay honest and your balances stay explainable.
finance_account_summaryMonthly stats & runway
Month-over-month stats, budget breakdowns and a runway figure that knows your real burn — the numbers a founder actually runs their life on.
finance_monthly_stats · finance_runway
Your Muse.
Your data.
No new dashboard.
Nothing new to learn
The interface is the conversation you already have with Muse. Hominem just gives it the facts.
Your ledger, your account
Your transactions live in your Hominem account, synced through the access you grant — an aggregator connection or direct connections using your own API key. Muse reads them through tools you connected — and can disconnect.
Answers with receipts
Every figure traces back to real, reconciled transactions. No estimates dressed up as facts, no AI-invented totals.
